Alicia Rider: Social Media & Marketing
Alicia Rider began her running journey in high school and hasn’t stopped since. As a young athlete, she faced the challenges of running with asthma, but quickly discovered that the sport not only motivated her—it also improved her overall health. Her resilience and love for running stayed with her well beyond high school, continuing to fuel her through the years as she built friendships and personal strength with every mile.
Running took on an even deeper meaning when Alicia became a mother and was later diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, a chronic autoimmune disease. Rather than let the diagnosis slow her down, Alicia became more determined than ever to keep moving forward. She made it her mission to show her daughter that a positive attitude and unwavering determination can overcome even the toughest obstacles.
For Alicia, the true heart of running lies in its community. She’s deeply committed to giving back to the sport that has given her so much. She actively volunteers her time, both on the TCTC board and at local races, always ready to support fellow runners. Alicia also proudly represents the running community as a local lululemon ambassador, using her platform to inspire and connect with others. Through all of life’s ups and downs, Alicia has remained grounded in the sport she loves—and in the people who’ve been brought into her life because of it.
