Twin City Track Club: 2022 by the Numbers

Twin City Track Club aspires to build a healthy and socially connected community through running events, activities, support and information. Here is a look at what you helped TCTC accomplish this year:

Total number of members: 709

Number of new members enrolled: 240

Strava Club members: 212

Number of Facebook Group followers: 1,662

Number of Instagram followers: 768

Number of in-person races hosted by TCTC: 13

Races timed by TCTC: 24 (Our timing crew is composed of volunteers donating their time from start to finish. Thank you!!!)

Runners Registered for TCTC Affiliated Races: 8,279

Other TCTC Hosted Activities (non-races): 15 (Including events like the Hanes Park Clean-ups, Hash Runs and the Holiday Party)

TCTC also believes in being actively involved in the community, supporting nonprofits and helping to create a healthy lifestyle for all.

FUN FACTS:

  • Twin City Track Club was established in 1977and is the oldest continuously active running club in North Carolina.
  • In 2022, we celebrated the 36th running of Ultimate Runner and the 33rd annual running of the Beat the Heat 5K.
