Happy Holidays TCTC!
Yes, Halloween IS the official start of “holiday season” for me!
It’s “scary” to think another year of running is quickly coming to an end, but it’s not over yet.
There are still plenty of races to choose from and bunches of miles to log. So don’t stop now.
Run all the way through that 2024 finish line!
Let’s be “thankful” for all those miles we’ve been able to run. For the friendships that we’ve
developed, for the camaraderie of fellow runners, and for understanding families (some who’ve
even found a love of running too!). Join the TCTC team and head up to Richmond for
“America’s Friendliest Marathon”. And let us know where our Destination Races should go in
2025.
A ”jolly” good time will be had by all attending the TCTC Holiday Party on Dec 7 at Big Winston
Stockhouse. Catering will be provided by Providence Catering, a program of Second Harvest
Food Bank. Join your TCTC friends as we celebrate our friendships and running in 2024.
Then, “for the sake of old times”, we’ll say goodbye to 2024 and HELLO 2025! This new time
will bring us new miles, new races, new PRs, and new faces. The TCTC Winter Seminar will
bring a new speaker, Mirna Valerio, and a new perspective on running and what it means to be
a “successful” runner. Despite having completed multiple marathons and ultramarathons, she
still doesn’t look like your “typical” runner. She is a former educator and cross-country coach,
ultramarathoner, cyclist, skier, mountain biker, DEI practitioner, and author.
Ticket prices for both the Holiday Party and the Winter Seminar will increase the closer we get
to both events….so get your tickets now!
Happy Running!
