Big things are brewing!

Twin City Track Club continues to do awesome things. It’s been one year since we earned the designation of Runner Friendly Community for our hometown. Since, then we’ve continued to build upon our accomplishments and planning for even more. We have some fantastic running related events in early 2023. Stay tuned for more information and details.

The Salem Lake Trail Races had over 400 finishers with the some of the best weather this race has ever experienced. Congrats to all the finishers and THANK YOU to all the volunteers who chipped in their time to support the runners. Race Director Bill Gibbs does more than you can imagine to create a great runner experience.

The $5K race series wrapped up in October with some eye popping results and stats. Every race in the series had over 100 finishers with 17 runners finishing all 7 races. Jim Wade created something special when he launched this race series in 2018. Current Race Director Terry Wilmoth continues to refine and improve the race to make it even better. I can’t wait to see what 2023 looks like!

Between now and the end of the year, I hope to see each of you at a TCTC event or activity. The Holiday Party is a great way to connect or reconnect with other TCTC members. Please mark December 3 on your calendar and join us at Village Square Tap House in Clemmons.

One of our goals for next year is to get every member involved in TCTC events as a participants and/or volunteer. There are so many opportunities! You can find everything you need to know about upcoming activities or races on our website – twincitytc.org.

We are especially eager to identify more club members to help with race timing, activity planning and leading group runs. Please send me a message at [email protected] if you want to learn more about these awesome ways to contribute to your running community.

Happy Running!
