My name is: Jared Robertson

But I’m also known as: Dad

And I’m originally from: Winston Salem

To sum myself up in a nutshell: I was homeless and hopeless. Now I have more than I ever dreamed possible.

I’ve been in Winston-Salem: 46 years

Became a TCTC member because: I’ve been a lifelong member of this community in one form or another. I’m a runner, and being a member of TCTC feels the right thing to do. And maybe in some way I can give back to my community.

Been a “runner” since: 2010

My motivation to run is: To be a better person and to inspire others.

But when I’m not running, I enjoy: Spending time with my wife and seven children. Going on dates with my wife. Mountain biking, swimming and eating.
