To sum myself up in a nutshell: I am a lover of the Earth, grower of food, avid forager, forever learner, and daughter of Samoa and the American South.
I’m originally from: Auckland, New Zealand
I’ve been in Winston-Salem: Less than a year!
Became a TCTC member because: I wanted to join a community of people who love being outside, propelled by their own power.
Been a “runner” since: The summer of 2020
My motivation to run is: For those who cannot, especially my mother who passed away from colon cancer last winter, and to behold my local environment. I love to “eye forage,” identifying plants as I run!
But when I’m not running, I enjoy: Baking sourdough bread, knitting, playing Bananagrams, and hiking with my partner and our Great Pyrenees girl.
