I am very excited about serving as vice president for the Twin City Track Club. My wife, Michelle, and I have felt very welcome from the first day we started running on Saturday mornings with the TCTC folks. We both enjoy the opportunity to socialize while getting out for a 5-6 mile run. We belonged to a running club for many years in the Wilmington, Delaware area before moving to Winston-Salem two and a half years ago and knew we were going to miss getting together with our weekend running friends. Belonging to the TCTC has provided a very similar experience for us.
I have been running recreationally all of my adult life and have run quite a few marathons in the past. I also enjoy competing in triathlons and doing some weekly swim training and cycling. Michelle and I have really enjoyed living in Winston-Salem, especially being close to our son and daughter-in-law.
